Just once, I want a trade that doesn't come with a disclaimer like "if we light a fire under him" or "if he can play as well as he used to." Every damn time, we scorn youth and speed and grit raised in our system in favor of age from outside that comes with "ifs." Once again, we come out of a trade deadline with bigger names on jerseys and a worse team.
